As the global biopharmaceutical industry rapidly shifts toward precision and personalized medicine, nucleic acid therapeutics and novel vaccines are emerging as two core engines driving sectoral transformation. On one hand, nucleic acid therapeutics—leveraging advantages such as precise targeting, highly designable sequences, and relatively controllable development timelines—are expanding beyond genetic disorders and oncology into the realms of metabolic and chronic diseases. With continuous breakthroughs in key technologies like RNA interference (RNAi) and gene editing, their potential for application in personalized medicine is being rapidly unlocked. On the other hand, novel vaccine technologies are evolving within the global public health landscape; they are forming increasingly efficient and flexible systems capable of everything from rapid responses to emerging infectious diseases to the establishment of long-term immunological barriers. Against this backdrop, the 5th China Nucleic Acid Therapeutics and Novel Vaccines Industry Conference (Nucleic Acid Summit 2026) will be held in Shanghai on April 1–2, 2026.
